Ayurveda Workshops + Consultations at Wild Spirit
Ayurveda is the sister science to a yoga wholistic yoga practice.
Ayurveda is an ancient medicine system, which focuses on the entire health area, including diet, lifestyle, exercise, detoxification, sleep, body, and mind. Health is a continuous and participatory process that encompasses all aspects of life: physical, mental, emotional, behavioral, spiritual, family, social and universal.
Achieving balance at all levels is the way to maintain vibrant health. Each person is unique, with an equally unique model for his or her health. By providing a universal framework for understanding these planes, Ayurveda teaches us to honor, sustain and support our true individual nature. The principle of Ayurveda is quite simple: to recognize the power of self-healing by knowing oneself.

Digestion is one of the most important functions in the body. Agni is a Sanskrit word that means fire and in Ayurveda, this fire is our digestion, the power of transformation. It is not only the digestion, absorption, and assimilation of food - but also sensations, emotions, and experiences that transform into energy.
According to Ayurveda, the root cause of all disorders lies in poor digestion. Digestion is considered a foundation of health.Summer (and Pitta Dosha) are linked to our digestive system too. The fire element relates to the mid-abdomen from its center in the navel and the digestive system. We should take care of the digestive fire at any time, but summer is a great checkpoint to take a look at it and see how we are!
During this Ayurveda workshop of the month, we will talk about the digestive fire and the digestive system - how it works, why it is so important, how it functions. We will also review symptoms and signs of balance/imbalance and share general tips. Let's get the digestive fire back on track!

Reset, detox, cleanse!
We offer a reset plan that is good for all the Doshas. The reset can be done any time during the year but advisable to do it every change of seasons. This detox we are offering is very friendly that lasts 3 days long.
With this cleanse, we will clear accumulated toxins from the mind and the body to improve digestion and immunity. It will also support the release of environmental toxins, emotions, stress. It will hopefully bring vitality, grounding, and life force.
You can start this cleanse any time, at your own pace. We will be here for you to guide, answer any questions and support you during the cleanse.
We advise you to plan your schedule, so you can be in sync and focus with your cleanse for the 3 days that it lasts, and even a few more days after to keep releasing and clearing.
The cleanse is not recommended during moon cycle, pregnancy, breastfeeding or for extremely weak or debilitating health conditions.
Life itself either bring balance or imbalance to our mind, body and spirit. It is not uncommon we feel disconnected, stagnant and even loss, out of touch with nature, with so many things going in our lives at the same time.
Creating a ritual is a powerful tool to bring ease and peace to our daily lives. We will share with you techniques to connect and go back to your nature, by creating your own ritual. This will not only be a routine, it will also invite you to have clear intentions on how to bring balance to your life.
