We have beginner’s meditation classes where we talk about meditation techniques and benefits. How to start a practice, Primordial Sound Meditation and other topics related to meditation. Those classes are open to everyone. Some are free, some are donation and the workshops and deeper study classes may have a minimal charge depending on the class. Yoga Nidra and guided meditation classes are regularly scheduled. These classes are typically 45-60 minute classes that are guided deep relaxation. Yoga Nidra means, “yogic sleep” where you learn to relax consciously. Yoga nidra is a very deep form of relaxation and has been found to reduce tension, anxiety and headaches and is used to help PTSD.
Currently First Wednesday’s of the Month at 7:15pm we offer Meditation Class to all levels. Each month we focus on practicing new techniques of meditation to take into our home practice.
