What if I’ve never practiced Yoga before?

We recommend if you have never practiced yoga before to enroll in a Beginners or gentle yoga class or set up a private yoga session. These classes are designed to help the person that is new to yoga, going through the foundation of yoga poses and yoga practice.  If you are coming to us with injuries we require an introduction private yoga session so we can accommodate your needs and help keep you healthy and injury free.


What do I wear?

Clothes you can move in and you feel comfortable in.  It can be yoga clothes but does not have to be. Many people have a beautiful practice in sweat pants and a tee-shirt.  Yoga clothing usually is fitted to the body, will not bunch and gather around while you are moving so can be a bit less to deal with.  You can find yoga clothes at places from Target to Lululemon on Market Street. To practice yoga you are barefoot.


What do I bring?

We have yoga mats, blocks, straps, blankets, bolsters and all basic supplies that you will need.  You are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. We have filtered water available to drink as well.

What class is the right class for me?

We do offer a variety of classes for all levels of practitioners,  so depending what you are looking for.

Never done yoga and/or recovering from injuries or haven’t done much in the last few years? 

Try a gentle, yin or restorative yoga class.

New to yoga but relatively active or no injuries?

Try a beginners yoga or All levels class.

Consider yourself a beginner now for at least the last 6-12 months and are looking for something a little more?

Try an intermediate or all levels class.

Been doing yoga for over a year and wanting to explore more advanced postures and practices of yoga?

Try an intermediate/Advanced class.

Super tight muscles or looking to focus on stress relief and relaxation?

Try a gentle, yin or restorative yoga class.

How do I see times and sign up for classes?

We have the MindBody Scheduling system.  Visit the schedule.  If you are new to the studio, create a login and password by clicking up on the top right hand side of the page.  If you have questions call us (970) 412-8740.  If we are in classes and you get our voice mail, leave a message we will get back to you ASAP!
