2017 is the year of the adventure, and Wild Spirit Yoga is creating opportunities for our community to adventure together! This Summer, Wild Spirit is teaming up with Mobile Om in San Antonio, to create a yoga retreat to Marfa!

Lets go to Marfa! June 21-25th we are headed out for the Summer Soul-stice Yoga Retreat! We will have workshops in deepening your yoga practice (asana & intention), meditation and intuition workshops, creative movement, bike rides (bring your bike or rent one!), creative living and mapping out your vision, journaling, connecting to your inner artist, finding your voice, drum circles, daily yoga classes and spontaneous cartwheels, handstands and/or expressions of joy! Let your creative soul SOAR in an open space that lets you be YOU!

The Retreat
The main house of the retreat will meet at Corte del Norte . This is where we will gather, hold the content of the retreat, meet for breakfast and dinner.

Corte del Norte is right in downtown Marfa at the corner of Dean St & San Antonio St. Walking distance to all the amazing art galleries and shops

Rough Itinerary
Arrive Wed June 21 at 3pm.
Mingle and have an amazing, fresh dinner cooked by our very own Wild Spirit & personal chef, Jane Wild of Jane and John Dough.
Wednesday evening Summer Solstice Celebration, Ceremony & Drum Circle.

Every morning before breakfast, we will offer all levels yoga and meditation groups. After breakfast there will be options for you to decide on.

Workshops in deepening your yoga practice, journaling, and creative living.

Bike rides around town with a impromptu yoga.

Trip to Balmorhea State Park in the San Solomon Springs, Yoga and Art Workshops, Journaling and creative living exercises. Get some Reiki, take a massage or Thai yoga stretch out session.

Lunch in Marfa! So many options, Marfa is a foodie destination. Gourmet food trucks, restaurants as well as lunch options at Corte.

After lunch, adventures! Trips to the local brewery, Big Bend Brewery in Alpine, for yoga and microbrews, coffee shops and art galleries, the local bookstore.

To die for dinner cooked by Chef Jane Wild, at Corte, together again.

Evenings will include trips to the Marfa Lights Viewing center, star gazing dinner picnic at the observatory, outings to the local pub, Bhakti yoga, campfires and good conversation!

The cost for the entire retreat is $675. That includes all of the workshops at Corte, outings and breakfast and dinner.  Lodging is up to you check out all your options…


Options for Lodging
There a quite a few options for lodging at different price points, depending on your budget.

1st Option: Staying at Corte del Norte. Share a room for the week at the beautiful, inspirational & kick ass retreat center! Wake up and stumble into your yoga class. Everything is right in your back yard. $500 for the 5 days. (only a few spots left! book asap)

Other Options in Town
Keep in mind, Marfa is a pretty small town and June is a busy time of year. Book your lodging soon so you have a place to stay, if you are not staying at Corte del Norte. 

Most places to stay in Marfa are in walking/biking distance to the Retreat House at Corte del Norte. Here are a couple of options.

Hotels like Cosmico has campsites with access to public bathrooms at $30 per night, tents, tee pees, yurts and RVs which range from $70-$160 per night.

Air bnb is another option. Just double check your location in relationship to ours and make sure distance won’t be a problem for you.

Traveling to Marfa

Marfa is about a 8 hour drive to West Texas. A group will be leaving Wild Spirit brignt and early Wednesday June 21st (you must reserve a spot in the van if you are riding with us…we need a headcount) or if you would like to caravan… Or you can just meet us up there!
